I'm Adam Wolff, and I'm the president of Elastic Process. For over five years, I worked at Laszlo Systems, purveyors of the fine open source RIA platform OpenLaszlo, in addition to some premium products. |
When I started at Laszlo, Flash was so slow, I wrote portions of our runtime directly in ActionScript bytecode. We wrote our own class system with inheritance and override. We even developed a crazy instant-on feature for our apps that we called “Krank.”
I moved on to a couple of other roles in my time at Laszlo. I ran Laszlo Studios, the professional services group, where I managed delivery of integrated solutions for big customers. Most recently, in my role as Chief Software Architect, I led the development of Laszlo Webtop, a client-server framework in Laszlo and Java with fancy features like optimistic concurrency control and pluggable window managers.
I cut my teeth doing game and user interface design at Rocket Science, Purple Moon, and then Microsoft. I've worked in the areas of advanced UI design and development for my whole career.
